A New Song

today i feel like i have no song.

as much as i long . . . i cannot sing.

i want to be happy, but i can't

not on my own.

i need to lean-

Lean on the arms of God..

i cry until i no longer can.

i give up my will. i cry "GOD!

i've taken all i can. God,

Forgive me. me and my foolish heart."

i tried so hard. thought i was smart.

help me God! I need a new song.
