Hair today...gone tomorrow
here are some pictures...
me and kesha before the haircut. she had like 4 inches of hair! (you can imagine how long it took to give her a bath!)
since kesha was so resistant to getting her hair cut, she got the entire family involved...my dad thought he was pretty good at cutting her hair :)
the hardest part while cutting her hair, was her stomach, how do you hold a 35lbs dog that refuses to go upside down good enough to cut her hair? i ended up lying on the floor and holding her, and my 'wonderful' sister thought it was a wonderful time for a picture.
and this is kesha finished after her "first haircut" and if you look close enough, you can see places where we missed some of her hair. she now has around and 1.5 inch of hair on her body (except the skippers) and on her head, is still the same length as it always has been.
aww. she is SO cute! she looks like an overstuffed teddy bear.
hopefully, this haircut will make so that it doesn't take so long to take a bath :)

vegas

ok, i wanna post some pictures from when we were at the CHA show in las vagas. it was kinda cool, but everything was so oriented around money...every hotel had to be larger than the last one. we got so see a hotel that had 5,000 rooms! every where you walked there were casinos. right when we walked into our hotel, we were right in front of a huge casino. and we had to walk through it at least four times a day. it felt really weird the first several times, but i got used to it after several times. our taxi driver told us that there are two words not in the people from Vegas' dictionary: modesty, and a word that meant "not knowing when to stop" (i can't remember what it was)
Rome
one thing that was really cool, was the fact that it had a large building here, and there, but it wasn't like when you were walking down the street, that you were stuck in between huge buildings. like in different parts of the city along the strip, it looked like different cities. like in one area it looked like new york city (it had alot of mini skyscrapers, and the statue of liberty) some of the other areas were to look like:
Paris
Rome
we were also in this one building, that when you walk inside i thought that i was still outside. the ceilings were painted, and you walked down the different streets, with stores along the side. it was just cool.

this "statue" was inside the building that didn't look like a building. actually this guy wasn't a statue, it was a REAL PERSON. (notice the $ in front of him, that passerbys gave him) i was trying to figure out why the stupid people were giving money to a statue of the pope. then when someone put money infront of him, he winked! it freeked me out. that "statue" wasn't a statue after all! the funny thing was, since we were prolly the only mennonites he has ever seen in his life, he was trying to watch us
, w/o making it ovious, cause he would keep looking at us out of the corner of his eye :)
m&m world, was kinda cool, 4 stories full of m m's and things with m&ms on
the last 2 pictures are my favorite....the 1st one is a picture of my dad and me with my "knight in shining armor" (note: my dad was trying smile because he didn't approve of him)

the secone was a picture of me and anita in the hotel casino, since we were walking right past them anyway, we sat down and took a quick picture, (note: we didn't gamble, not even one penny!)
