Hair today...gone tomorrow

well, last saturday night, i finally gave my dog her much needed haircut...she absolutely hates loud noises, so when we got the sweeper out, she wanted to go outside right away, we attached the flowbee, and called her over, she was a bit hesitant, but she came over anyway, we had to hold her pretty tight, because of all her excape plans.
here are some pictures...

me and kesha before the haircut. she had like 4 inches of hair! (you can imagine how long it took to give her a bath!)

since kesha was so resistant to getting her hair cut, she got the entire family involved...my dad thought he was pretty good at cutting her hair :)

the hardest part while cutting her hair, was her stomach, how do you hold a 35lbs dog that refuses to go upside down good enough to cut her hair? i ended up lying on the floor and holding her, and my 'wonderful' sister thought it was a wonderful time for a picture.

and this is kesha finished after her "first haircut" and if you look close enough, you can see places where we missed some of her hair. she now has around and 1.5 inch of hair on her body (except the skippers) and on her head, is still the same length as it always has been.

aww. she is SO cute! she looks like an overstuffed teddy bear.
hopefully, this haircut will make so that it doesn't take so long to take a bath :)
